The W8 weighing software issues weighbridge tickets in accordance with the current legislation (GD 1373/2008, updated in 2015).
The flexibility of the W8 application is extended by the implementation of the XMLScript concept that allows the definition of functional modes: communication with peripherals, definition of statistical reports, data import and export protocols, and even the configuration of the main screen of the application.

STUDII DE CAZ
Soluție de cântărire de verificare integrată în liniile conveior de ambalare a produselor. Fiecare astfel de linie (beneficiarul deține până în prezent 7 linii distincte de ambalare) înglobează 2 cântare de verificare, unul pentru tarare și unul înaintea sigilării ambalajului. Ambele sisteme de cântărire sunt echipate cu indicator de greutate programabil, model 3590EGT, cu scanner de cod de bare și bloc de lămpi de control (verde/galben/roșu). Cele două sisteme de cântărire de pe fiecare linie sunt coordonate de un calculator central pe care rulează aplicația Netto dezvoltată de Scaleit.
Operatorul de la stația de tarare scanează codul de bare de pe ambalajul produsului amplasat pe cântar (în ambalaj fiind deja unitatea centrală a produsului). Ca urmare a scanării respective, aplicația PC verifică dacă greutatea de tară se încadrează în limitele de tară corespunzătoare produsului respectiv.
Dacă da, fundalul ecranului indicatorului și blocul de lămpi de control luminează verde, indicând că produsul poate fi eliberat pe linia de ambalare. În caz contrar, indicatorul va ilumina pe culoare galbenă (dacă greutatea este prea mică) și respectiv roșu (dacă greutatea este prea mare), indicând faptul că este necesară verificarea produsului.
