W8 is a highly flexible software package for Windows and the web that provides all the features and procedures needed for day-to-day operation in assisting weighing systems in modern weighing processes.
Control of weighbridges, rail weighbridges or other weighing systems, transaction management, stable and safe functioning, as well as an intuitive and easy-to-use graphical interface are just some of the key features that define W8 as a very important component of integrated weighing systems.
The W8 weighing software issues weighbridge tickets in accordance with the current legislation (GD 1373/2008, updated in 2015).
The flexibility of the W8 application is extended by the implementation of the XMLScript concept that allows the definition of functional modes: communication with peripherals, definition of statistical reports, data import and export protocols, and even the configuration of the main screen of the application.

STUDII DE CAZ
Soluție de cântărire și etichetare butoaie cu pastă de aluminiu. Liniile de producție sunt în zonă cu risc de explozie, astfel că platforma este în construcție ATEX, iar terminalul cu etichetator sunt plasate în afara zonei cu risc de explozie și sunt conectate la platformă prin bariere de protecție intrinsecă. După etichetare, butoaiele sunt stocate în exterior, ceea ce a necesitat utilizarea unor etichete plastifiate, rezistente la radiații UV și la intemperii.
Stația de etichetare este echipată cu indicator programabil model 3590ETP, legat prin conexiune fără fir (modem radio de rază lungă) la calculatorul din biroul desfacere, calculator pe care rulează aplicația de control gestiuni dezvoltată de Scaleit. Produsele și operatorii sunt transferate dinspre PC către stația de etichetare, iar periodic aplicația PC readuce cântăririle efectuate.
Operatorul de la stația de etichetare se loghează și efectuează cântărirea în doi pași.
La cântărirea butoiului gol, alocă butoiul uneia din liniile de încărcare.
La cântărirea brut (după umplerea butoiului, operatorul selectează linia și produsul, iar stația de etichetare regăsește greutatea de tară, calculează netul și tipărește eticheta conținând de definire a produsului: data, ora și schimbul, operatorul, produsul, tara, brutul, netul precum și codul de bare conținând toate aceste informații. După tipărire, datele sunt salvate, gata pentru transfer la PC.
Totodată, furnitura include două terminale de golire butoaie, pasta de aluminiu fiind un produs intermediar în cadrul procesului de producție. La aceste stații (echipate de asemenea cu indicatoare programabile 3590ETP), operatorul se loghează, apoi folosește un cititor de cod de bare wireless pentru a scana butoiul. După scanare, butoiul este golit complet în procesul de producție corespunzător. Terminalele sunt de asemenea conectate la stația PC din biroul desfacere prin modemuri radio de rază lungă de acoperire, conectate într-o rețea radio.
Prin recepționarea datelor de cântărire de la toate cele trei stații (stația de etichetare și cele două stații de golire butoaie), aplicația PC poate monitoriza stocurile de produs precum și consumurile specifice pe linii.
